Washington, DC (December 5, 2021) - On Saturday, December 4, 2021, the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Washington, DC organized a 5K race at Prospect Park in Brooklyn, New York in celebration of the UAE’s 50th anniversary. The “UAE 5K for the 50th” also featured traditional Emirati experiences that showcased the history and culture of the UAE. New York State Senator Kevin Thomas blew the whistle to kick off the race, and more than 700 people participated in the 5K run and activities.

Washington, DC (2 December 2021) – Today, diplomats at the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Embassy in Washington, DC celebrated the UAE’s 50^th National Day and Golden Jubilee. The National Day event, a tribute to the UAE’s five decades as a nation, highlighted several milestones and achievements of the Emirates since its foundation in 1971.

To mark the UAE’s 50^th National Day and Golden Jubilee, the UAE Embassy in Washington, DC celebrated five decades of UAE unity and 50 years of UAE-US friendship at The Reach at the Kennedy Center.
