January 21, 2021 – On Tuesday, the United Arab Emirates finalized letters of agreement (LOAs) with the US Government for the acquisition of F-35 Joint Strike Fighter aircraft and other defense equipment, as previously announced. The LOAs confirm the terms of the UAE purchase, including costs, technical specifications and anticipated delivery schedules.  

WASHINGTON, DC, 17th September, 2020 (WAM) -- Concluding his visit to Washington, DC, for the historic signing of the UAE-Israel Peace Accord, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and senior Members of Congress.

The United Arab Emirates and the United States signed an Enhanced Consular Privileges and Immunities Agreement that will provide enhanced protections to Emirati and American consular staff in both countries. The agreement will enable consular staff to better protect the interests of citizens abroad.
